Qualifications

• Requires 1 year prior experience in a hospital laboratory setting (specimen processing/preparation, data entry, centrifugation, microbiology setups).
• Pref 1 year experience in a Pathology Laboratory.
• Pref 1 year of secretarial/administrative assistant experience.
• Must have strong organization/time management skills.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service behavior.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Type 60 WPM; computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Assists licensed staff in preanalytical processes of collection, accessioning and sample preparation.
• Supports laboratory staff during testing and in reporting results to customers.
