Job summary

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Lab Supervisor to support the Manager in daily lab operations at Stone Oak. Responsibilities include supervising personnel, overseeing QC/QA and proficiency testing, and driving method development and evaluation of laboratory protocols.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate or Bachelor degree in a relevant science, plus MLS/CLT/CLS/MLT credentials or 15+ years of lab experience for waiver.

Qualifications

Degree(s) required in chemical, physical, biological science or medical laboratory technology.
MLS/CLT/CLS/MLT certification required or waived after 15+ years of lab experience.

Responsibilities

Assist manager with day-to-day lab operations and staffing.
Develop and monitor quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing.
Oversee equipment maintenance, supplies, and inventories.
Develop and evaluate laboratory methodologies and protocols.
