Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience in a clinical lab.
• 5+ years of clinical laboratory experience.
• MLS (ASCP) or MLS (AMT) or MT (AAB) certification.
• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise laboratory staff to ensure safe, accurate, and timely testing.
• Oversee budgeting, department metrics, quality initiatives, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA, CAP, AABB, and other accreditation standards.
• Provide training and coaching to new and existing staff; manage performance evaluations.
• Coordinate instrument maintenance and troubleshooting; supervise testing workflows.
• Represent the laboratory in leadership meetings and drive continuous improvement.
