Job summary

Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc is hiring for a Laboratory Specimen Processor I in Austin, TX. This full-time role operates on the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm, Tue–Sat) and entails handling serum and urine aliquots, shipping manifests, and shift-end checklists.

You will support the shift lead with inventory and quality tasks while contributing to patient care. The position requires an Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant with a high school diploma, plus strong

Qualifications

• Associate Degree OR Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant with High School Diploma
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Mastery of Laboratory Specimen Processor I duties
• Handles All Shift Exception handling of samples, issues
• Serum and Urine Aliquots
• Send Away manifest creation, packaging and shipping
• Complete the Daily End of Shift Checklist
• Assist Shift Lead and Supervisor with Inventory Needs
