Job summary

Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc in Austin, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Operations professional for a full-time 1st shift role. You will verify check shipper sample types, complete logs, forward problematic orders, and perform aliquoting and data entry to ensure accurate specimen handling.

The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification with a High School Diploma, strong reading/writing skills, and 10-key typing ability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or phlebotomy certification with high school diploma.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and verify check shipper sample types and ensure empty
• Complete Specimen receipt logs
• Specimen Receipt and forward problem samples/orders to exception handling
• Identify Issues (Ordering, Labeling, Specimen)
• Aliquoting of samples
• Shipping to other Referral Labs
• Data Entry
