Job summary

Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc, based in Austin, TX, seeks a Laboratory Specimen Processor I for the 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm, Tue–Sat). You will handle specimen processing, packaging, and daily checklists, with opportunities to assist leadership and manage inventory.

Requirements include an Associate Degree or Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant credential and strong reading, writing, and typing skills. Benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

In this role, you will:

All you need is:

• Associate Degree OR Phlebotomy Certification or Medical Assistant with High School Diploma
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points if you’ve got:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a biological science or certification in a medical program technologist program
• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Data entry experience in a laboratory environment
