Job summary

Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc in Austin, TX is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Operations team member for full-time 2nd shift (3:00am–11:30pm, Tue–Sat). Join a Great Place to Work environment and support specimen handling, data entry, and shipping to referral labs.

In this role, you will:

• - Open and verify check shipper sample types and ensure empty
• - Complete Specimen receipt logs
• - Specimen Receipt and forward problem samples/orders to exception handling
• - Identify Issues (Ordering, Labeling, Specimen)
• - Aliquoting of samples
• - Shipping to other Referral Labs
• - Data Entry

All you need is:

• - Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification with High School Diploma

Bonus points if you’ve got:

• - Bachelor’s Degree in a biological science or certification in a medical program technologist program
• - 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• - Data entry experience in a laboratory production environment
