Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Accessioner I for our Earth City, MO facility. You will process laboratory specimens, track them in the LCLS database, and prepare materials for testing in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include receiving and labeling samples (blood, urine, tissue), ensuring accurate documentation, and collaborating with lab teams to maintain data integrity and timely processing.

Evening shift 3:30 p.m. to midnight onsite.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of laboratory, healthcare, or related experience.
• Experience in fast-paced data entry with accuracy.
• Strong data entry skills with attention to completeness.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• AS or BS in biological sciences preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage specimens for clinical testing.
• Catalog patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue).
• Update clinical information in the LCLS database.
• Track specimens to ensure accountability.
• Prepare specimens for packing and shipping per guidelines.
• Collaborate with lab departments to ensure accuracy.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Balance teamwork with independent tasks.
