Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. Work schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00PM–11:30PM with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include preparing specimens for analysis, unpacking and routing specimens, labeling correctly, packaging and shipping to testing facilities, and meeting production goals. Requires attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
