Averhealth is seeking a Specimen Accessioner I in Hazelwood, MO for a mid-day, full-time role. You will prepare urine specimens, enter data, store samples, and maintain accessioning area, working in a fast-paced laboratory environment with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform routine tasks without errors.
• Experience in a lab setting preferred.
• Ability to pass a color vision test.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare urine specimens for analysis per SOPs.
• Receive, open, pipette and record samples.
• Prepare excess samples for storage.
• Enter specimen data into software database.
• Dispose of samples after analysis.
• Maintain cleanliness of accessioning area.
• Ship supplies to Averhealth sites as needed.
• Communicate effectively and work at a fast pace.
