Job summary

Eurofins USA Clinical Diagnostics in Lenexa, KS is hiring a Laboratory Specimen Processor to accession and enter data with high accuracy. You will work with LIMS and other tracking systems, verify sample details, and prepare samples for the next step in processing.

The role requires strong data entry and organizational skills and may include evening or weekend shifts. Qualified candidates read SOPs and policies, maintain confidential information securely, and collaborate with lab staff to ensure

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Typing proficiency tested during interview (min 30 wpm).
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs and policies.
• Evening/weekend hours may be required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Proficiency with PC-based software and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into LIMS and other specimen tracking systems with high accuracy.
• Examine samples for type, stability, and volume to ensure correct handling.
• Label samples for delivery to the appropriate area.
• Maintain and handle sample storage materials properly.
• Resolve patient demographic discrepancies by coordinating with relevant teams.
• Complete correction requests as needed and ensure data integrity.
• Adhere to data management policies and quality standards.
• Maintain QA/QC records and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with lab staff to complete daily tasks efficiently.
• Provide administrative support for lab projects as needed.
