Responsibilities

  • Receive, identify, sort, and triage specimens for clinical testing.
  • Accurately process patient specimens according to laboratory procedures.
  • Enter and manage clinical information in the LIMS database.
  • Verify specimen information and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Perform internal audits of clinical charts and laboratory records.
  • Ensure specimens are properly labeled, stored, and routed to the appropriate departments.
  • Collaborate with various laboratory departments to support testing accuracy and timely processing.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting productivity and turnaround-time requirements.
  • Follow laboratory safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
  • Identify and elevate specimen discrepancies or issues as needed.
