Job summary

Personalis, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Accessioner to join our clinical lab operations in Fremont, CA.

You will handle patient specimens, accession, and fulfill client requests for returns or destructions, while working with LIMS and related software to ensure accurate data entry. The role involves shipping/receiving, inventory logging, and collaboration with the Lab Processing Team to support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (BA/BS)
• Proficient computing skills
• Strong attention to detail in handling specimens and data
• Effective communication with team and internal staff

Responsibilities

• Confirm incoming specimens meet acceptability standards for testing
• Label specimens with unique identifiers and maintain inventory logs
• Fulfill client requests to return or destroy specimens promptly
• Prepare and ship specimens to client testing sites
• Log test reports and sample data into LIMS
• Support Lab Operations and Training of new staff
• Assist with team projects and initiatives as needed
• Other duties as assigned
