Job summary

Avantor’s Advanced Laboratory Services team in Spring House, PA is seeking an organized shipping technician to manage outbound shipments and process inbound logistics for research samples and materials.

You will coordinate with carriers, prepare documentation, ensure proper storage and shipping conditions (including dry ice), and uphold safety and regulatory requirements while supporting inventory and lab operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, biotechnology, biomedical sciences, or related discipline with lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for outbound shipments (international & domestic).
• Receive and process shipments to designated department freezer.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation and invoicing.
• Coordinate with carriers and researchers to ensure timely shipments.
• Follow safety protocols and SOPs for handling and transport of samples.
