Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Kelsey Seybold Clinic in Atascocita, TX is hiring a Patient Services Technician II for Lab Services. The role performs venipunctures, waived tests, and maintains records in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited school.
• 2+ years of phlebotomy or related clinical experience.
• Experience with Windows-based software and EPIC is preferred.
• Must obtain BLS within 30 days of employment.
• Strong customer service and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric and adult venipunctures, finger sticks, heel sticks and other collections as ordered.
• Perform CLIA waived testing with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records for inspections and audits.
• Perform quality controls and participate in proficiency testing.
• Maintain lab instruments and follow safety guidelines.
