Advocate Health is seeking a Senior Lab Administrator for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center – Administration: Lab Acute Care in North Carolina. The role blends clinical laboratory leadership with enterprise-wide operations, including budgeting, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.

Hybrid schedule (Mon–Fri 8:00–5:00) with a focus on ensuring high-quality laboratory services, staff development, and cost-effective operations across multiple hospital functions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and team development.
• Experience directing budgets and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pathologists and lab leadership to support clinical and safety initiatives.
• Align with enterprise strategies and act as liaison between hospital administration and lab leadership.
• Lead projects to meet strategic initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor budgets; address variances.
• Propose operating and capital budgets; control expenditures within targets.
• Improve processes to enhance teammate engagement and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Direct standards and systems to improve quality, efficiency, and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regs and accreditation; maintain inspection readiness.
• Design and direct work for assigned areas; coach and develop teams.
