Job summary

City of Arlington is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Clerk to receive samples, log them into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and perform routine analyses and QC checks under supervision.

You will also calibrate and verify essential equipment, maintain inventory and logbooks, monitor temperatures and other metrics, and ensure accurate data entry and reporting in compliance with SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years data entry or related experience.
• 1–2 years customer service or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log samples into LIMS.
• Retrieve and update customer information in LIMS.
• Perform routine analyses and quality control on samples.
• Calibrate and verify essential laboratory equipment.
• Maintain inventory logs and ensure accurate data entry.
