Qualifications

• Bachelor or associate degree in medical technology or related sciences.
• 1 year of clinical experience with high complexity testing preferred.
• MLS/MST qualifications or equivalent considered.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting, and records.
• Ensure proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved procedures and report results.
• Review and release test results in a timely manner.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
• Escalate issues if test performance falls outside acceptable ranges.
• Identify and notify supervisor of problems affecting test results.
