Job summary

Pace Analytical in Florida is seeking a Chemistry/Biochemistry Analyst to oversee analysis, administration and oversight of standard chemistry programs. You will review results, manage documents and support calibration and QA in a lab setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry and strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills to ensure quality and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry/biochemistry or related field.
• Understanding of chemistry/biochemistry policies and procedures.
• Ability to analyze data and document testing results.
• Familiarity with lab instrumentation and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Provides fundamental analysis using standard analytical instrumentation and SOPs.
• Reviews and documents testing results and data interpretations.
• Oversees or completes chemistry/biochemistry forms, documents and databases.
• Advises staff and leadership on chemistry policies and practices.
• Interprets feedback, coordinates resources and responds to customer input.
• Analyzes trends and presents proposals to management.
• Ensures accuracy of tests, equipment, actions and databases; audits as needed.
• Assists in project objectives, budgets, timelines and resources.
• Maintains and calibrates equipment, samples and lab areas.
• Follows applicable laws, rules and regulations.
