Job summary

Duke University is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Interdisciplinary Behavioral Research Center (IBRC) within the Social Science Research Institute. The role oversees daily operations, supports researchers, and manages participant recruitment through a university-wide research resource.

The incumbent will collaborate with the IBRC Director, expand outreach, ensure efficient services, and coordinate communications across channels.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field.
1 year of experience supporting or conducting social and behavioral research; 3 years preferred.
Experience with participant recruitment, human subjects research, research project coordination, researcher support, or program management.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the IBRC, coordinating with Duke services and SSRI administration.
Serve as primary contact for researchers using IBRC resources and onboarding new researchers.
Coordinate community participant recruitment and prescreening; manage participant databases.
Develop outreach and recruitment campaigns; expand utilization of Center resources.
Coordinate communications, website content, newsletters, and social media.
Assist with budget planning, financial forecasting, and processing payments.
