Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in New Jersey seeks a Laboratory Technical Coordinator to serve as technical expert in assigned areas, performing waived, moderate and highly complex tests, and training staff.

This role collaborates with Site Manager to maintain Quality Management, schedules staff, troubleshoots equipment, and ensures regulatory compliance while supporting patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science or medical technology and ASCP eligibility.
• 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience in non-waived testing in the designated area.
• MLS/MT competency with ability to supervise and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate and high-complexity tests and supervise daily activities.
• Collaborate with Site Manager to maintain Quality Management program.
• Review procedures, schedules, and equipment maintenance; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot technical problems, document actions, and supervise staff in supervisor's absence.
• Assist LIS analysts with computer issues and support competency assessments.
