Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Lab Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System for its Geo and CMT laboratory. You will perform independent QA/QC of test reports and ensure testing and reporting adhere to accreditation standards, working with the Lab Manager to drive continuous improvement.

The role focuses on standardizing procedures, maintaining accreditations (AMRL, AASHTO, CCRL), and ensuring data accuracy for soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt testing in infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• QA/QC leadership experience in a lab setting.
• Strong understanding of lab testing standards and reporting.
• Ability to manage documentation and ensure compliance with accreditations.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct lab testing procedures and equipment use.
• Develop and maintain the quality management system in the lab.
• Perform independent QA/QC reviews of test reports before client submission.
• Collaborate with Lab Manager and project teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Lead internal quality audits and track corrective actions.
