The role requires knowledge of laboratory procedures, attention to detail, and ability to comply with regulatory standards while maintaining excellent patient service and teamwork in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
• Two years of laboratory or patient care experience preferred.
• Experience may be substituted by a student pursuing a science degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen receiving and processing duties.
• Registers patients and enters orders in the computer system.
• Operates centrifuges, labels and aliquots samples, and delivers to test site.
• Maintains lab supplies and ensures compliance with policies.
