Westbourne IT Global Services is seeking a Lab PC engineer to join our Lab IT services at the client site in California. The role involves deploying IT projects in pharmaceutical GxP lab environments and supporting GMP-aligned solutions.
You will install and configure applications, manage platform upgrades, and author technical requirements and SOPs. The position requires hands-on hardware imaging, testing, and incident resolution in a regulated environment.

Understand System Requirements, Design system solution consistent with pharma GMP Standards
Install and Configure Applications per specifications
Manage platform upgrades
Author requirements documents (e.g., user, functional) , Contribute to configuration specifications
Author server Technical Requirements Specification, Author / Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Contribute to testing procedures, Assist with Script Execution, Author Change Request (CR)
Procure and build hardware, Image and deploy systems
Decommissioning
Resolve issues escalated by sustain support desk.
Security and Audit Trail Review. Assessment of data generation, modification and deletion, auditable events date and time stamps. Modifications to metadata, sample data sets. Identification and follow up on remediation activities following security and audit trail review.
Windows 10 security patch update, Reboot and perform system verification check as per client procedures. Scheduled checks following Windows 10 Security Patch, quarterly updates, with execution/implementation planned by month
Experience working in pharmaceutical QC Lab environment,Min 3 years in Pharma
Experience Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and network issues in a GxP and non GxP environment. 3-5 years
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
Preferred, recent Microsoft, CompTIA or ITIL certifications
