Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a Lab Pack Project Manager to lead the Lab Pack and hazardous waste brokerage services in the Waste North Region. You will identify opportunities, develop solutions, coordinate field and transportation activities, and oversee projects from initial waste assessment through packaging, transportation, disposal, and final documentation.

Work closely with Sales, Operations, Transportation, and disposal partners to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (Tanker and Haz Endorsements preferred).
• Strong knowledge of hazardous waste handling, transportation rules, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience coordinating lab-pack, waste brokerage, or similar services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lab Pack and hazardous waste brokerage initiatives within the Waste North Region.
• Coordinate field and transportation activities from waste assessment to disposal.
• Develop project solutions and manage quotes, packaging, and documentation.
• Serve as a technical and operational resource to support business development.
• Build vendor and disposal relationships and support the Sales team.
• Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with DOT/EPA regulations.
• Communicate with customers to manage expectations and deliverables.
• Oversee project profitability and adherence to timelines.
• Be available for occasional extended hours or weekend work as needed.
