Job summary

Reworld seeks a Lab Pack Manager to lead the Lab Pack department, ensuring proper segregation and packaging of chemicals into DOT-approved containers with correct markings. You will oversee projects from start to finish, enforce safety and compliance, and manage department finances.

Responsibilities include training the team, analyzing budgets, coordinating shipments, and ensuring strong customer relations while maintaining a strong safety record and compliance with USEPA and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in environmental science, business, or related field.
• 8+ years of lab pack, waste, or environmental solutions experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage and train Lab Pack department in day-to-day operations in accordance with RCRA, DOT, and OSHA regulations.
• Analyze facility budget requests, sales, and activity reports to measure productivity and identify cost reductions.
• Act as liaison with internal and external customers.
• Execute handling, packaging, and transport of hazardous and non-hazardous materials per USEPA and DOT regulations.
• Supervise end-to-end process of jobs from quote to completion, including scheduling, labor coordination, invoicing.
• Mentor and develop department personnel and performance.
• Build relationships with customers, sales reps, Field Services & Transportation, and Reworld facilities.
• Maintain safety track record and promote safe work practices.
