Job summary

Veolia North America is recruiting for a Lab Pack Chemist responsible for hazardous waste handling and on-site waste operations. The role includes inventorying, packaging, sampling, and documentation to ensure compliant disposal in accordance with regulations.

You must obtain a CDL B with Hazmat Endorsement within 6 months of starting and pass DOT physical and drug screening. Excellent benefits accompany the opportunity.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in genereal science (BS preferred) is required for the Lab Pack Chemist
• Completion of required licenses: CDL B with Hazmat Endorsement within 6 months
• DOT physical and DOT Drug Screen are required

Responsibilities

• Handles hazardous materials including inventorying, identifying, segregating, and packaging waste material
• Performs onsite services such as waste collection, bulking, sampling, inspections
• Prepares shipment of packaged waste and completes shipping documentation
