Job summary

Veolia, in partnership with Clean Earth, is seeking an entry-level Lab Pack Chemist to perform hazardous waste handling and on-site disposal tasks. Duties include packaging waste, sampling, safety inspections, and preparing shipments with accurate regulatory documentation.

Requires an Associate's degree in general science (BS preferred) and OSHA HAZWOPER training; a CDL B with Hazmat Endorsement may be pursued within 6 months. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with focus on hazardous waste handling and lab pack duties.
• Requires ability to prepare shipments, label waste, and complete shipping papers with accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA/Hazmat regulations and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle hazardous materials, inventory, identify, segregate and package waste.
• Perform on-site services including waste collection, bulking, sampling, safety inspections.
• Prepare packaged waste shipments and ensure proper labeling and loading.
• Complete documentation and regulatory paperwork (LDRs, certifications).
• May obtain CDL B with Hazmat Endorsement within 6 months.
• Support health and safety plans on site and follow JSA procedures.
