Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee rapid response laboratories located across Arizona. You will provide leadership to laboratory staff, optimize workflow, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support startup of new labs as the business grows.

Travel statewide is required. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant lab science, several years of high-complexity testing experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical lab science or medical technology.
• Four years’ training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.
• Two years’ supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops, directs and manages laboratory operational activities to meet company objectives.
• Performs all functions according to policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, and professional standards.
