Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories Corporate in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a knowledgeable laboratory manager to oversee rapid response labs across Arizona. You will direct operations, optimize workflow, and support staff while starting up new labs as the business grows.

This role requires statewide travel and collaboration with diverse leadership teams. The position emphasizes compliance with policies and regulatory standards, high-complexity testing oversight, and supervisory experience to ensure efficient

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Four years’ training and experience in high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.
• Two years’ supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (preferred).
• MLS or Specialty Certification (preferred).
• Additional related education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational activities within the laboratory to meet company objectives.
• Direct and manage high-complexity testing in the respective specialty.
• Support laboratory employees and optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Start up new labs as the business grows and travel statewide to different lab locations.
• Partner with other business units and leadership for success.
