Qualifications

Associate degree or BSc in lab science or equivalent
CLIA 42CFR493.1489/1491 equivalence qualifies
US military lab training may apply
Foreign credential evaluation may be required in some cases

Responsibilities

Performs waived and non-waived tests with supervision.
Assist with department compliance to accrediting/regulatory standards (e.g., CLIA, JCAHO, CAP, OSHA).
May collect, receive, and process biological specimens into the lab.
