Job summary

Acro Service Corp seeks engineers with propulsion system knowledge to support emission testing and data analysis in a 12-month contract environment.

You will perform test execution on engine, powertrain, or vehicle chassis dynamometers and ensure compliance with CFR procedures such as FTP, HWFE, and US06. On-site collaboration with R&D teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding propulsion systems and CFR emission testing requirements.
• Proficiency with data acquisition tools and modeling platforms.
• PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test Execution for engine, powertrain, or vehicle dynamometers and emission analyzers.
• Compliance validation against CFR and certification procedures (FTP, HWFE, US06).
• Analyze emission outputs and fuel economy data to optimize engine performance.
• Diagnose equipment or vehicle anomalies in controlled test cells and environmental chambers.
• Support on-site teams for current and new R&D activities.
• Battery development and testing at new Battery Lab Facility.
• Prototype development and powertrain testing across full vehicle scope.
• Provide engineering support for testing operations and resolve testing equipment issues.
• Oversee and resolve problems in R&D testing equipment and countermeasure development.

Duration : 12 months contract(possibility of extension)

Pay: $55-$57 hour on a w2 basis without benefits/holiday/vacation

Description:

What you’ll be doing:

Test Execution: engine, powertrain, or vehicle chassis dynamometers and emission analyzers.

Compliance Validation: Verify test results against Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and certification procedures (such as FTP, HWFE, and US06).

• Data Analysis: Analyze emission outputs, particulate matter (PM), and fuel economy data to optimize engine performance.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment or vehicle anomalies in controlled test cells and environmental chambers
• Support on site teams to ensure facilities are supporting current and new R&D activities.
• Battery Development & Testing at new Battery Lab Facility
