As a key member of the T&V team, the Sr. Powertrain Lab Engineer will lead the testing and operation of powertrain labs, ensuring accuracy, safety and test integrity.
Minimum 8 years of high‑voltage system integration, test & validation experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in powertrain labs.
Experience in HIL systems (e.g. ETAS/DSPACE), HV labcar/buck, Powertrain system/E‑motor dynos (e.g. AVL/HORIBA) and climatic battery chambers.
Strong knowledge of electric vehicle functions and electrical architectures (HV and EE).
Strong understanding of international/national electrical safety standards and risk assessment procedures for labs and electric vehicles.
Proficiency with CANoe, CANape/INCA and other software tools.
Proficient in low‑voltage and high‑voltage analog measurements; experience with thermal testing equipment is advantageous.
Experience with ETAS Labcar operator, dSPACE Control Desk, AVL Puma, and automation software such as ECU‑TEST (Tracetronic), Labcar‑automation (ETAS), Automation desk (DSPACE) is advantageous.
Certification for electric safety at work up to 1500 VDC/1000 VAC (OSHA, TUV, OEM) is advantageous.
BA or Master’s engineering degree required; proven excellence may be considered.
