Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, New Jersey is seeking a Laboratory Assistant II to support the laboratory workflow and ensure accurate specimen processing. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in the specimen receiving area of a hospital or clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Performs registration in IDX for laboratory drop-off specimens.
• Monitors Ancillary Error Log - makes corrections in Healthquest, IDX or Lab Systems when required.
• Adds patient charges to Healthquest for miscellaneous test requests. Merges patient accounts in Sunquest.
• Adds/deletes/modifies charges in Healthquest when requested by QA Manager and Admin Director.
• Provides support to Customer Service and Reference departments.
