Job summary

Qualifications

• HIGH SCHOOL OR GEDASSOCIATES.
• Proof of formal Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training required; annual recertification not required. PBT (ASCP) certification highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Laboratory Assistant works under the general supervision of the laboratory section manager in support of the Clinical Laboratory Scientists/Medical Technologists and Technicians. He/she performs duties in the technical areas of the laboratory including specimen handling, inventory, maintenance and others as assigned.
