Job summary

Sapphire Americas, a CRH company, is seeking a Lab Supervisor to provide daily guidance to plant laboratory personnel and support routine chemical analyses and quality control. The role requires leadership to ensure safety, accuracy, and timely reporting across laboratory operations.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, assist with equipment procurement, and maintain thorough documentation while adhering to regulatory guidelines and plant production objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a four-year degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
• Experience supervising laboratory personnel is preferred.
• Proficiency in English communication and reporting required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate laboratory staff and activities.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed in the plant environment.
• Conduct regular chemical analyses and review results for quality control.
• Provide data reports, charts, and documentation for management.
• Assist with purchasing lab equipment and supplies as needed.
