Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit

The mission of the School of Nursing is to enhance and improve the health and well-being of North Carolina and beyond through education, research, scholarship, clinical practice, and community service. Today, it is renowned for its academic programs, research, and commitment to service at local, national, and global levels.

The Education-Innovation-Simulation Learning Environment (EISLE) supports undergraduate and graduate programs by providing a safe, simulated clinical setting where students can learn, practice, and build confidence in foundational nursing skills.
