Job summary

Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise is seeking a Lab Manager to install, configure, and maintain software, PCs and testing devices across multiple labs. You will ensure security, care for equipment, and provide technical assistance to faculty with lab setups and special software requests.

The role requires keeping labs clean and safe, maintaining inventory logs, and coordinating shipments between Thousand Oaks and other locations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in lab or IT environments.
• MS Office Suite proficiency required.
• Basic working knowledge of Windows OS and Linux OS.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle lab equipment securely.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain software, PCs, and testing devices.
• Ensure security of computers and upkeep of lab equipment and supplies.
• Provide technical assistance in setting up labs and special software requests.
• Assist faculty with lab usage and document procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of computing labs; conduct daily lab walkthroughs.
