Job summary

Draper, a nonprofit R&D leader in Cambridge, MA, seeks an Operations Production Support Coordinator to manage electronics inventory, calibration tracking, and lab spaces in a high-mix production setting. This on-site role supports ongoing builds, coordinates with Cal lab, and maintains ESD-safe labs, reporting to Program Managers.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in lab or facility operations, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with MRP security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in Operations or Business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure lab equipment calibration is up to date.
• Coordinate equipment transfers between work areas and Cal lab.
• Escort Cal lab personnel for on-site calibration and ESD bench certification.
• Track hardware builds and update travelers and work orders for technicians.
• Maintain quality control spreadsheets on production status and changes.
• Track chemicals, limited life materials, and other consumables.
• Manage preventative maintenance, order parts and schedule maintenance.
• Oversee inventory control and procurement needs.
• Obtain quotes from vendors for supplies and materials.
• Submit purchase orders to buyers.
