Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital is seeking a Lab Associate Coordinator to oversee all technical functions for specimen collection and processing. The role supervises laboratory activities to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant operations within department policies.

Preferred candidates have supervisory experience, an associate's degree, and BLS/phlebotomy certifications. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and requires a high school diploma or GED plus 2–5 years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of laboratory experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises laboratory activities to ensure procedures are performed promptly, accurately, and according to department and hospital policies and procedures.
• May participate in development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets with direct responsibility for budget adherence.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
