Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Lab Assistant I (Necrospy) to support laboratory operations in a dynamic research environment. This entry-level role involves maintaining organization, supporting sample management, preparing studies, and ensuring quality and safety adherence.

Responsibilities include handling glassware, sample storage, data entry, and equipment upkeep while following GLP guidelines and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow written procedures in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, organize, and distribute laboratory glassware and equipment.
• Support laboratory setup, housekeeping, and general organization.
• Process and organize biological samples for analysis.
• Maintain inventory and monitor equipment temperatures.
• Assist with data entry and record maintenance.
