Job summary

Charles River is seeking a laboratory technician to generate and record data with minimal supervision, handling samples and performing basic studies to ensure GLP-compliant data collection and reporting. The role involves following SOPs, data entry, and preparing materials for shipment in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with zero to two years of related experience; strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to follow protocols are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacy, or related field.
• Zero to two years' lab experience; GLP experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic laboratory data entry and SOPs.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic laboratory procedures and collect data per GLPs and SOPs.
• Under supervision may act as lead/primary technician on basic studies.
• Basic Understand/Knowledge LCMS
• Input, print and edit computer entries (e.g., laboratory data).
• Prepare materials and data for shipment and archiving.
• Receive samples and complete tracking documentation.
• Review documentation of functions performed as part of quality control requirements.
• Perform study preparation activities including collection tube labeling and room setup.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
