Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist In Training to join our laboratory team. The role involves hands-on work across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology, with emphasis on accuracy, calibration, and quality controls.

A strong customer service mindset is required for interactions with patients and physicians. Education includes AS/BS in Physical Science or current enrollment in an MLT program.

Competenze

• AS or BS in Physical Science or enrollment in Medical Laboratory Technology program.
• Must obtain a national certification within 6 months of hire.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Perform daily activities related to Chemistry, Blood Bank, Hematology, Microbiology and Immunology.
• Ensure validity of test results by calibrations, quality controls, and routine maintenance on analyzers and tests.
• Provide excellent customer service on the phone and in person to patients, physicians, and other medical staff.

Qualifications: Education/Certification: AS or BS in Physical Science or enrolled in Medical Laboratory Technology program. Must obtain a national certification within 6 months of hire. Current BLS Certification. Valid driver’s license.

Experience: 0-2 years preferred in Clinical Laboratory.
