Job summary

HealthPoint in Bothell, WA is seeking a Medical Assistant to lead clinic laboratory functions, perform phlebotomy and in-house tests, and maintain quality controls. You will coordinate specimen processing with LabCorp and handle daily vaccine duties, temperature logs, and lab data entry.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Six months Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory medical care setting and/or lab.
• Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification or Interim Certification or complete MA Registered application at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous blood draws and in-house lab tests according to established protocols.
• Coordinate processing of specimens to LabCorp including the review of the invoice.
• Responsible for regular quality control checks of lab procedures on a daily basis.
• Daily vaccine duties including recording refrigerator/freezer temperatures and posting vaccine data.
• Manage lab supplies, inventory, and lab equipment; ensure timely reporting and tracking of lab orders.
