Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Burien, WA seeks a Part-time Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) to perform venipuncture, EKGs, spirometry and waived lab tests, ensuring specimen integrity and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Active WA MA-P (Medical Assistant–Phlebotomist) certification required.
• High School Diploma/GED (or equivalent).
• Strong customer service and phlebotomy skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws with proper specimen handling.
• Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration.
• Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs.
• Maintain inventory, equipment and safe lab practices per CLIA/HIPAA.
• Communicate results and coordinate with providers and staff.
