Job summary

Solutions³ LLC is seeking a Lab Manager II to support onsite incident response for civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners. The role includes investigating breaches, developing mitigation plans, and restoring services within a lab environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in system administration, strong OS and networking skills, and experience with VPN/VDI solutions, SIEM tools, and lab SOP development. A US citizenship and active clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• DHS Suitability required prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced analytical skills to characterize breach severity and develop mitigation plans.
• Support lab tech deployment of new technologies and equipment.
• Assess network topology and configurations for security concerns and best practices.
• Develop and refine lab SOPs and policies.
• Provide VPN/VDI support to users (Citrix, VDI).
• Provide MacOS/iOS support to users.
• Troubleshoot and triage technical issues; monitor helpdesk channels.
• Manage user accounts and credentials; implement granular access controls.
• Establish backups and monitor system security; monitor storage/network issues.

Title: Lab Manager II

Description: Solutions³ LLC is supporting our prime contractor and their U.S. Government customer to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution.

Solutions³ LLC is seeking a Lab Manager II to support this critical mission by performing investigations to characterize the severity of breaches, developing mitigation plans, and assisting with the restoration of services.

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
• Must be able to obtainDHS Suitabilityprior to starting employment
• 2+ years of directly relevant experiencein system administration
  Responsibilities Include:** **
• Applying advanced analytical skills and technical resources at the tactical levels and implementing infrastructure solutions supporting command decision making and execution of mission requirements
• Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment
• Assesses network topology and device configurations identifying critical security concerns and providing security best practice recommendations
• Advises and provides insight on development of lab standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies
• Provide support for Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g., Citrix) to users
• Provide support for MacOS and iOS to users
• Provide troubleshooting and triaging assistance for basic to intermediate technical challenges and user issues
• Monitor and respond to users on IT helpdesk channels and phone lines
• Assist in the management of user accounts and resetting credentials
• Performing implementation of granular access control, and monitor systems for acceptable performance and user accessibility, establish back-ups, and monitor systems security
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage problems across the enterprise related to storage and replication strategies across local and wide area networks
• Monitor channels for storage-related network and system issues and remediate them as they occur
  Required Skills:** **
• Experience with multiple operating systems, to include Linux/Unix & MacOS
• Experience and knowledge of networking and network administration
• Experience with Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
• Experience with virtual desktops (Citrix, VMWare)
• Must be able to work collaboratively across physical locations
  Desired Skills:** **
• Experience working with SIEMs to include ELK and Splunk
• Virtualization automation and optimization
• Experience working with Jamf Pro, DEP, and Enterprise Connect implementation
• Experience with writing technical procedures and standard operating procedures
  Desired Certifications: CEH, Sec+, Network+, CCNA
  Required Education: BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering or related degree; or HS Diploma and 4+ years lab management or systems administration experience
