Job summary

American Ecotech / Ambilabs LLC in Warren, Rhode Island is seeking a Lab Manager to oversee the service laboratory. This hands-on leadership role includes supervising technicians, coordinating calibration and repairs, and ensuring work is completed on schedule with high quality.

You will work closely with sales and manufacturers, maintain lab safety, and ensure documentation in Zoho. Strong technical leadership and ISO quality awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in instrumentation service, calibration, electronics repair, or lab operations.
• Experience supervising technical staff and hands-on training.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 quality standards and service processes.
• Experience with Zoho or similar service management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lab operations: testing, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Schedule and assign work to technicians, balancing deadlines and requirements.
• Manage RMAs, service orders, and documentation; monitor turnaround times.
• Coordinate calibrations, maintenance schedules, and inventory management.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and interface with customers and vendors.
• Maintain safety, quality procedures, and ISO-compliant practices.
