We’re seeking a hands-on Lab Technician with server hardware expertise to support cutting-edge technology development. This is a 1-year onsite contract in Santa Clara, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform server hardware maintenance: CPU, RAM, SSD, and add-in card upgrades.
• Install and configure operating systems (Linux/Windows Server).
• Update and manage firmware (BIOS, BMC, CPLD).
• Conduct hardware validation and troubleshooting.
• Manage lab inventory and equipment logistics.
• Assist with board-level rework (soldering, connectors).

Required Skills:

• Server hardware assembly/troubleshooting
• Linux and Windows Server OS installation
• Firmware (BIOS/BMC) updates
• Lab inventory management
• Basic scripting (Bash/Python is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with oscilloscopes or PCIe analyzers
• Knowledge of server platforms (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS)
