Job summary

RTX is seeking a Lab Lead- Senior Analyst Support in Goleta, CA. The role focuses on managing environmental test projects and daily lab administration, ensuring safety, security, and compliance while collaborating with customers, staff, and senior leaders.

The position requires a university degree or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years in an engineering lab environment and skills in mechanical and/or electrical/electronic domains. Onsite work in Goleta, CA is expected.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment.
• Mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Lab Operating Procedures (LOPs) by providing direction for lab users on established policies.
• Manage, coordinate, and implement Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainment programs.
• Oversee Property & Metrology Management to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Conduct cost analyses and ensure task completion within approved budgets.
• Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM).
• Oversee audit and assessment preparation.
• Lead Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program; develop corrective action plans and long-term objectives aligned with engineering customer goals.
