Mercy Health is seeking a Lab Lead for the Lima Medical Office Building to coordinate daily lab operations and provide leadership to lab assistants and couriers. The role ensures timely reporting of results, supports safety training, and handles performance documentation and scheduling.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with preferred associates in Allied Health/Phlebotomy and phlebotomy/EKG experience.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate Degree in Allied Health Sciences with Phlebotomy coursework is preferred.
• Phlebotomist certification is preferred.
• 3 years phlebotomy experience with EKG experience is preferred.
• Leadership experience in a customer-service environment is preferred.

Mansioni

• Coordinate daily operations of the lab and oversee workflow.
• Perform phlebotomy and processing duties as needed.
• Monitor LIS reports and ensure high-quality pre-analytical processes.
• Assist leadership and manage scheduling/timekeeping.
• Maintain accreditation standards (TJC and CAP) for the area.
• Oversee staff training and orientation.
